All international students must live with either a parent (or legal guardian) or designated caregiver, or reside with a Richmond View School Approved Homestay.
We welcome international applicants to enter into any year group, subject to availability

Enrolment Process

Complete our online International Students Application Form and Enrolment Agreement. Include all necessary documents with this application.

Student Interview: The student will be invited for an interview, either in person or online, this will be with our school representatives. This meeting takes around 15 to 20 minutes. The purpose of the meeting is to get to know the student and understand what their interests and goals are. A pre-entry English test may also be required.
Offer of Place and invoice from the School are sent to successful applicants.
On full payment of fees, the school will send a fee receipt to the family.
Apply for a student visa. You can find comprehensive visa requirements from Immigration New Zealand.
VISAS AND IMMIGRATION

Provide school with evidence that you have obtained appropriate Medical and Travel insurance. Please discuss with the school first as we can help you wiht this process.
All students are required to have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand. IMPORTANT: Healthcare in NZ: Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full cost of treatment. For details on entitlements to publicly-funded health services available through the Ministry of Health please read here. The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, however, you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Orientation Information is sent to the student prior to starting their study with the dates they are required to attend, and what to expect. Orientation is fun and includes activities. You will meet other students and your buddy (a senior student) who will help you familiarize yourself with our school campus.
After arriving in Blenheim, acquire your school uniform, and stationery kit from the school office.
Attend Orientation and commence your study.
