For our technology, we are making light boxes that individually tell a story, but as a group tells a story together. We are learning the design concept and how to successfully make a finished product.
Richmond view school is doing the 40-hour famine this year again for South Sudan to help the kids. Last year, as a movement of young people across Aotearoa, world vision stood united with the South Sudanese children seeking refuge in Uganda. This year, the 40 Hour Famine will continue to support the children of South Sudan seeking refuge in Uganda, by providing essentials like food and clean water as well as emotional and educational support. Your imagination is the only limit – whatever idea you have to raise money this year, go for it. From giving up food or your phone to living out of a backpack, or running a bake sale, no idea is a bad idea. Please sign up and help the kids of South Sudan.
We are reminded of Philippians 2: 4 - Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Overall this week was a winner.
