Please see below important information, from the organisers, about the Jump Jam competition on Saturday 8th June. Both our Year 1-4 team and our Year 4-8 team are entering the Strictly competition. The team coaches are myself and Mrs Foote. I will send out a note nearer the time about where and when students should meet us. Please note that parents will need to purchase a ticket in order to watch the competition.
Green Room
We ask that all teams arrive around 30 minutes before the category starts into the Green room or space provided. We will hand out tee shirts for Strictly teams to change into. Then 10mins before the section starts we will seat all teams in the hall/auditorium, so they can watch everyone and will be called up from their seats to perform.
Remember the Strictly JUMP JAM competition, the students cannot wear Make-Up, Glitter hairspray or wear costumes. However you can match your shorts/tights and shoes if you wish and put matching hair ties or ribbons. We simply want to judge the students like they are a sports team.
Performances
- Prizegiving. We will invite the teams and coach back on to the stage to receive Certificates, Trophies & placings from 3rd to 1st.
Note: While a team is performing the doors will be closed to the auditorium. This is to allow an un-interrupted performance. Once a team’s performance is over the auditorium doors will open. Pretty please, advise all Parents/Supporters and your team that everyone MUST remain seated during another teams’ performance. So those on stage are not distracted by movements in the audience.
Photography during any team’s performance is not permitted. You may take still photos during the awards ceremony only with handheld cameras, no tripods are permitted – Strictly No videoing will be allowed (anyone caught videoing will be removed from the venue). This is a condition of entry and ticketing
