Please bring PE gear on week 8 and 9, Wednesday. Week 10 is fundamentals Mon-Thur. Please bring PE on those days.
Thank you to those parents who have come forward, and we are nearly able to go on camp. We still need another MALE helper just for the overnight slot on Tuesday (7pm-7am roughly). This means some working dads may well be able to help, being back in town by 8am. We need another helper for Tuesday daytime, flexible with times.
Mr Elwood, Mrs Johnson

The programme for camp is already filling up with exciting activities. We hope it will give students some memorable new experiences and provide a wonderful opportunity to enjoy New Zealand’s great outdoors. Our programme will also include an opportunity for students to participate in supervised archery and rifle shooting. If you do not wish your child to participate in these activities please advise us prior to camp.
If you have any questions, or wish to discuss any aspects of the camp with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us as soon as possible.

Thank you to those parents who have offered to help provide transport for the the camp. We are still two parent volunteers short. If parents can only come for one night we can certainly make that work with a larger pool of parents helping to share the load.
Kia ora parents, on Friday 24th August room 5 and 6 will be walking to the Wither hills for a landscape drawing lesson with Brayshaw Parks John Orchard. Letters will be going home shortly. Room six will leave after roll call and return around noon. We need a couple of parent helpers to walk with us please. Sneakers may be worn for this event as some walking is involved.
Thanks, Mrs Johnson, Mr Elwood
There is an addition technology day on Wed 8th August. Covered shoes are required. This is a fantastic and enjoyable challenge for students.
