It was a pleasure to host many different Marlborough Schools in the RVS/Elim Hall on Monday the 23rd May. Chess Power sent a representative to run the chess competition day where every student plays at least seven games. Twelve of our students were involved, all of whom did very well. Several of our students received medals and all received certificates. Junho Kim was our highest ranked player who not only won five out of his seven games (several against college students), he also was the highest ranked primary/intermediate student in the entire competition. I will speak more about this at my Principal’s assembly next Friday. Well done team!
