The following shows examples of the current uniform at the school.

RICHMOND VIEW SCHOOL UNIFORM      

BOYS:

Jersey             Navy, hand knitted or bought.  Round or v neck.  Or a navy blue Guernsey.  Embroidered with Richmond View Logo.

Sweatshirt      Navy, no motif or hood. Embroidered with Richmond View Logo.

Polar Fleece Jersey    Long sleeve, navy, no motif, no hood, not full length zip

                        Embroidered with Richmond View Logo. These are available from the school office.

Polar Fleece Vest  Navy, no motif or hood.  Embroidered with Richmond view Logo.

Polo shirts      These are to be forest green.

Skivvy             These are to be forest green.

Socks              May be long, plain grey or short white sports socks.

Shorts             Grey (school style)

Long pants     Optional in winter, grey school style.  (Not track pants or jeans)

Shoes              Black or brown only.  Must be able to be polished. Casual shoes,  sports shoes or sneakers are not to be worn as part of the uniform.

Sandals           Black or brown.

Jacket             Any colour jacket or wet weather gear may be worn to and from  school.

Swim wear     Lined swimming shorts, any colour.

Sports wear   Dry Gear Polo Shirt, black with orange trim and school logo on back to be purchased from school office. Plain Black Techno Dry Shorts (Postie Plus).  Black track pants are optional. Any colour sports shoe may be worn.

Jewellery        Only a watch.

Hair                Must be short.  Hair is not to be dyed.

Track Pants   May be worn to and from school on cold days but must be removed  before school.

Hat                  Navy slouch hat.

GIRLS:                                                                            

Skirt or Pinafore Made from McKenzie tartan. Pattern and material available through the school.   Skirts and pinafores are to be no shorter than  when the child is kneeling on the ground the skirt touches the ground.  Year 1 and 2 girls are to wear the pinafore with a bib, those Year 3 and older are to wear the skirt.

Bike pants      Black or navy bike pants may be worn under the skirt.

Blouse             White short sleeve, (school style).

Polo shirts      These can be either white or forest green.

Jewellery        Jewellery is not to be worn except for a single pair of small silver, gold or coloured stone studs in ears and a watch.

Hair                Hair that is shoulder length or longer must be tied back off the face.  Hair accessories must be within the colour range of the uniform. Hair is not to be dyed.

Make up         Make-up is not to be worn.  This includes nail polish.

Track pants   May be worn to and from school on cold days but must be removed  before school.

Hat                  Navy slouch hat.
